This Privacy Policy describes how Bit Forge Ventures, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website at https://bitforgestrength.com, our web application at https://bitforgestrength.app, our native mobile applications for iOS and Android, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you register or sign in (including via email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple).
- Profile and preferences: settings and information you add to your account.
- Training data: workout templates, scheduled workouts, completed workouts, exercise notes, sets, reps, weights, goals, and related fitness information you enter or generate in the Services.
- Equipment data: equipment lists, gym setup details, and photos you upload for equipment recognition or cataloging.
- Communications: messages you send us (support requests, promo access requests, feedback).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, general usage events, crash or diagnostic data, and similar technical information.
- Identifiers: Firebase user IDs, app instance identifiers, and similar tokens used to operate the Services.
- Log data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs on our website.
1.3 Information from integrations (with your permission)
If you connect optional features, we may receive additional information as described in Section 4, including subscription status, health or activity data, or data from Strava.
1.4 Payment information
Mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google (when available). We do not receive your full payment card number. We may receive subscription status, product identifiers, and related metadata through RevenueCat and our backend systems.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you
- Store and sync your workouts, plans, equipment, and progress
- Process subscriptions and enforce access to premium features
- Generate AI-assisted workouts, programs, and alternatives when you request them
- Enable optional integrations (e.g., Strava, Apple Health, Health Connect)
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Services
- Monitor performance, debug issues, and protect against fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these circumstances:
- Service providers: vendors that help us run the Services (hosting, authentication, databases, storage, analytics, AI processing, subscription management, email), subject to contractual protections.
- Integrations you authorize: when you connect Strava, Apple Health, Health Connect, or similar services.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law.

4. Integrations You Enable
4.1 Strava
If you connect Strava, we receive OAuth tokens and may upload workout files or activity data you choose to share. Strava’s use of your data is governed by Strava’s Privacy Policy. You can disconnect Strava in the app or through Strava’s settings.
4.2 Apple Health, Health Connect & Apple Watch
On supported devices, you may grant permission to read or write health and fitness data (e.g., workouts, heart rate). We access only the data types you approve in system permission dialogs. Health data is used to support workout tracking, watch features, and optional exports—not for advertising. You can revoke access in iOS or Android health settings.
4.3 Sign in with Apple / Google
When you use third-party sign-in, we receive information from the provider (such as email and a stable account identifier) according to your choices on their sign-in screen.
5. AI Features
When you use AI features, we may send prompts and context (such as your goals, equipment, and workout history) to AI service providers to generate responses. Do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed for this purpose.
AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. We use AI providers under their terms and privacy policies. We may log requests for quality, safety, and abuse prevention.
6. Cookies & Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation and
analytics (e.g., Google Analytics cookies such as _ga). Our mobile
apps may use Firebase Analytics or similar tools to understand usage. See our

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website features.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate backups and security logs.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Request a portable copy of certain data
- Opt out of marketing emails (if we send them) via unsubscribe links
Account deletion: You may delete your account through in-app settings (where available) or by contacting us. Deletion removes or deactivates your profile and associated training data subject to Section 7.
Permissions: You can revoke health, notification, or other device permissions in your device settings at any time.
To exercise privacy rights, email [email protected]. We may verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. International Users
We are based in the United States and process information in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to transfer and processing in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
12. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
